The Chantecler was developed in Canada specifically to withstand brutal winters, featuring a tiny cushion comb and wattles that are almost frostbite-proof. Canada's only native breed, they are calm, productive, and built for the cold like no other. An excellent choice for northern climates where other breeds struggle.
