The Malay is one of the tallest chicken breeds in the world, standing up to 30 inches high with an upright, almost reptilian posture. An ancient Southeast Asian breed, their hard, sparse feathering and tight muscles give them a prehistoric appearance. They require experienced handling and ample space, but are truly impressive birds for the dedicated enthusiast.
