The Sebright is one of the oldest and most beautiful true bantam breeds, developed in England in the early 1800s by Sir John Saunders Sebright. Their precisely laced gold or silver feathers with black edging are a masterpiece of selective breeding. Kept almost exclusively for exhibition and as a garden ornamental.
