The Minorca is the largest of the Mediterranean breeds, famous for laying some of the biggest white eggs of any chicken. Their glossy black plumage and enormous red comb and wattles make them a dramatic-looking bird. Best suited to warm climates and experienced keepers who appreciate a classic Mediterranean layer.
